Hungry Moose

I was out early this morning and they were everywhere. These two young moose were at Safeway and Fred Meyer. It has been a hard winter for them and hard for me not to feed them.

This empty business building is down the road from me. I imagine different ideas for the place. What do you think would go well there?

Every time I pass by I notice the crazy temps on the reader board sign and today I had to take a picture. Makes me think of sayings like “when hell freezes over” or “it’ll be a cold day in hell…”

Actually it was just another day in paradise.

I put my yak traks on my bear paw boots and went out and about and stayed upright all day, yay!

Guess who rode with me to the Bridge Access to take in the gloriously sunny and warm-for-February-in-Alaska day?

This was the view at Bridge Access today even though the photos can never quite capture the real deal.
